Our sincere apologies for being absent lately. We hastily planned a trip westward to visit with grandchildren.
We pretty sure we’re coming back. Maybe.
Here are two images taken last week during a survey of the Lake Hancock Outfall Wetlands. This area will hopefully be open to the public early next year.
Sunrise with a few White Ibises heading from their roost to feed for the day.
Black-bellied Whistling Ducks buzzed around the marsh all morning.
Y’all take care of each other while we’re gone and try to behave.
Enjoy your search for a natural place and come back for a visit!
