Indian River Sunrise (Sky Watch Friday)

Sunrise – Indian River – Titusville, Florida, USA

Morning clouds obscured the sun for most of the morning but at one point it broke through and illuminated a spot of water on the Indian River near Titusville, Florida.

This was part of our trip last Friday to visit Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.  See more pictures of this adventure here:

  1. This one provoked a gasp (a good “awed” gasp, not an alarmed one!). I can almost see the clouds moving.

    • It was an unusual sky that morning. As the clouds moved around, I took a more “traditional” sunrise shot. If you haven’t checked out the two-part post on “Seeking Refuge”, take a look. Don’t miss our first Bobcat! Love you!

  2. Beautiful sky shot! Happy Skywatching!

  3. I’m so excited to get back to Florida next week.
