Sky Watch Friday

Hurricane Sandy is moving up the east coast of the U.S. and we’re getting a little wind over here on the west coast of Florida.  Today, you could get dizzy trying to watch the clouds as they were moving quite fast.  The pictures show long thin clouds that seemed to be emanating from almost the same point on the horizon.

The pictures were taken on the south shoreline of Tampa Bay looking due east.

We hope all who may be in harm’s way take precautions.  Maybe she’ll turn away from the coast and fizzle out over the North Atlantic.

  1. Lovely skies!

    My entry.

  2. Cool looking streaky clouds… very pretty!

  3. What an amazing view. It appears that the clouds are forming a straight line across the sky. Hope you are safe throughout the storm.
